Absolute must for a base builder.I've been using all my spare time for the past three days trying to figure out how to do this and have got to the point where I've ran out of ideas. I personally always take it when I am planning on a long run game, where I set up a fort that should hold long. Not only you gain a lifetime improvement to your constructions, but you get few bonuses on the way such as weapon maintnance and so on. Then you shall encounter a small offtown road, follow it and if you see a company sign, then I can only wish you fun as you loot those massive warehouses. You should come upon a thin layer of trees, go through them.

If I go professions then I usually take the following: Lumberjack for a greater punch with an axe and faster woods traversing, veteran for desensitazation (you dont panic no matter what) and great aim with firearms from day one (pretty useful, you dont have to learn how to shot properly in the zombie apo where every shot draws crowds) or if I am lazy Carpenter, to get that beginner level 4 carpentry.Īnd regarding the McCoy Co., I didnt say where it was, its basically next to the northern warehouse, you get there then turn left and cross the speedway. Just a quick tip: you can level up your carpentry skills very fast with building low tier plank walls and sawing logs along. Just as you said, handy is a wonderful trait that makes miracles. I was thinking of trying the burglar profession mostly for the stealth but you have me reconsidering what professions do you reccomend? I generally go for the perks out of shape feeble and obese as they can be lost over time and give you a bunch of trait points for it, Maybe i will reconsider the runner trait but i think assuming the wiki is right then handy is a great trait as it supposedly gives +100 hp to constructions which when a level 3 wall only has 250hp that is pretty awesome and carpentry/maintenence skills are pretty nice So the speed bonus is only minor from park ranger? worth noting My advice for you is to make a character with Fast Learning, Strong, Very Fit, and the rest you can learn on your own. You can try to lure the zombies to a certain location through the trees or another obstacle for example, and go to the desired area without any hassle. Regarding the stealth build, you dont really need it.

What I think you should do is take traits & perks that give you a certain bonus, that you wouldnt be otherwise able to learn on your own, like adrenaline junkie or veteran that is desensitized. I never take perks or traits that increase my starting skills in something, because I can learn it later on my own. You can develop your stamina and running skills throughout the game without the traits that will only take place for more useful ones.

Dont take traits that increase your sprinting skill, because its a waste of points. Hes nothing more than a rotting corpse right now, but he left a nice stash of medicine in his storage.Ī park ranger recives a slight bonus to traversing through the woods, pretty neat and very situational if you want to use trees as a cover. If you are wounded there is a private doctor cabinet called Cortman somewhere in the middle of the town. Beware of the undead, because they will gather there in big groups and surely will get attracted by you smashing the doors. Bring some bags with in case you run into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of guns and munitions. Note that you will have to smash some doors down in order to get inside. If you want to get some firepower then go to the police station at the bottom of the speedway.
